We are exploring the open space areas around Parker. This trail is great if you had horses but not recommended if you are on foot. Too many horse droppings.
Dawson Butte is a mountain summit in Douglas County in the state of Colorado (CO). Dawson Butte climbs to 7,474 feet (2,278.08 meters) above sea level. Dawson Butte is located at latitude - longitude coordinates (also called lat - long coordinates or GPS coordinates) of N 39.300268 and W -104.937482.
Anyone attempting to climb Dawson Butte and reach the summit should look for detailed information on the Dawson Butte area in the topographic map (topo map) and the Dawson Butte USGS quad. To hike and explore the Colorado outdoors near Dawson Butte, check the list of nearby trails.
If you go into Tabernash you have missed the turn off you need to go back around 3/4 of a mile. The turn is before the bridge and you can see it from a distance.

Cost for parking: $ 4 per car per day
Cost for lodging: The cost of various beach houses do vary, but they run at about $50 +/- $10 per night. Please note that you have to stay for 2 nights and that you will NOT get your money back if you decide to cancel.

It has been a good three months as Dulcinea has sayed home with Isaiah, and as a result he is growing like a weed.Looking back, I realized that the three months leave given to women for maternity is too short! It takes so much time for their bodies to heal, especially if there is a complication during child birth. Plus, the three months just does not provide enough time for the learning curve and adjustment in having to take care of a baby.Throughout it all, we are thankful for the time and will plan for the future to have her stay home.

The wife and I decided lhead up to the mountains for a last minute get away before she was forced to return to work from maternity leave. The destination we chose this time was Vail Ski Resort. The reason for our decision is that we had a new born who was only three months old, so the destination had to be child friendly. Vail has a good mix of shops and activites at the two villages: 1)Vail Village; 2) Lionshead Village. There was a free bus that could take you from one village to another and parking was free.

FREE Exhibit - Tikkun Olam: Repairing the World
B'nai Vail, Vail Interfaith Chapel and the Town of Vail Art in Public Places are bringing the collaborative art project,Tikkun Olam:Repairing the World, to the community starting June 21. Conceived and assembled by artist Christy Honigman, the project endeavors to represent the universal nature of Tikkun Olam ("repair of the world" by displaying pictures poems and songs produced by 54 participants from 27 countries. The free exhibition is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. A schedule of guided tours and educational events is available from B'nai Vail by calling 477-2992.
